In the past, traditional paths of education required more time, effort, and dedication, and products were judged directly by the buyer.
Yet, in essence, our personal evolution is influenced less by the era we live in and its characteristics, and more by our own attitude and perception.
I am writing this article while observing how deeply issues of so-called spiritual evolution and self-realization have become entangled with external factors, such as aliens, ancient gods, and similar ideas.
Often, within these spaces—let us call them spaces of seeking—there emerges a sense of the chosen ones, the saved, or the elite, in a way not unlike religions. This can be understood as stemming from a deeper human need: the need to feel loved, so strong that it leads us to create illusions or misunderstandings.
I will not refer to methods of education or teaching, because all participants offer something in their own way. We choose them according to the stage we are in, so that they may help us move forward. From their own perspective, they too are walking their own path of evolution. Therefore, it is unproductive to judge, when we are free to choose what suits us or what we need.
What truly matters is our ability to listen to our own inner voice—and to trust it.
To give space to our thinking so it can form all the questions necessary for us to continue. Questions are extremely important; they are the foundation of evolution. They affirm individuality, the uniqueness of the self.
Questions require space and silence. Time itself is not so important, as it can contract or expand accordingly. A well-trained mind can, within minutes, focus or “receive” ideas and answers.
The recognition of the soul, of the immaterial world of Spirit—which is the center and core of all creation—gradually creates, for the practitioner, a unifying field. From this field, questions and answers arise more fully and more clearly.
Understanding and accepting the self leads us into a world of responsibility, but also of gratitude. I take responsibility for what is mine, and I acknowledge the support and assistance I receive from the field of Spirit.
I follow the inner voice, even when it is barely audible and often felt as a subtle discomfort. If something troubles or unsettles you, give yourself space before accepting it. In every case, you are free to reconsider your position.
Ultimately, this entire world that calls us to explore it may simply be a projection of our own inner world.
By human measure, one year comes to an end and a new one begins. These are demanding times, and that is why we need strength and love to continue.
